Allegations Management: The Role of the LADO
This 'Need to Know' session is designed for managers and designated safeguarding leads across wider children's workforce in Kent. The session will identify the relevant procedures that should be used in respect of all cases in connection with the person's employment, or voluntary activity where it is alleged that a person who works with children has:
- Behaved in a way that has harmed a child or young person, or may have harmed a child or young person.
- Possibly committed a criminal offence against or related to a child or young person.
- Behaved towards a child or young person in way that indicates he or she may pose a risk of harm to children and young people.
